HSMAI
Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International
Wayne,
As the evaluations confirmed, your presentation to our Chapter Leadership during our Leadership Forum held in Chicago was "great." You are a consummate professional with a thoughtful and intelligent approach to the topics you presented. Both the "How to Sell Against a Cheaper Price" and "How to Sell HSMAI Memberships" armed our leaders with new and confident ways to approach building their chapter membership.
Thank you so much for spending the time to personalize your wealth of material to our specific audience. We'll be calling upon you again for future sessions. Thanks again for such a great event.
Margie Shefer, CHME, CHA Director of Chapter Relations

DALE CARNEGIE & ASSOCIATES
Dear
Wayne,
Thank
you so much for being part of our 51st International
Convention in Orlando. From the minute I reviewed
the videotape you sent me, I knew you were the right
choice as a workshop presenter to our attendees. Your
workshop, "Hiring, Training & Retaining the Winners,"
was definitely a topic that our attendees needed!
We had a total of twenty-four workshops and yours
was one of the best attended. Now that things have
begun to settle down, I had some time to review the
comments from our attendees. I wanted to highlight
for you a few of their comments:
- "Mr.
Outlaw's presentation was most thought-provoking
and his ability to field the many questions speaks
volumes about his knowledge and flexibility."
- "Entertaining
and informative!"
- "Great!
I am new to this process and it was very helpful."
- "I
could tell Wayne spent a lot of time researching
Dale Carnegie. He knew who we were and what we needed."
In
addition, I have learned that as a result of the success
of your workshop, you are now doing some consulting
work for several of our Sponsors, as well as working
with our Vice President of Field Support, John Covilli,
to develop some additional programs for our organization.
Wayne, thank you again. This was the first year we
utilized outside workshop presenters. I wanted to
make sure I made the right choices and you made me
a hero by doing such an outstanding job! I hope to
be able to have you on our agenda next year.
Sincerely,
Theresa Kiely Convention Workshop Coordinator

SAWD
Southern Association of Wholesale Distributors
Wayne,
Your presentations were fantastic! On four different occasions you spoke for our Association and hit "a home run" for me every time.
Your humor, energy, and audience involvement ensures you not only keep the group's attention, but you also ensure they have a great time Your programs have great content and provide real value for our members.
It is refreshing to have a speaker who can challenge the members' thinking and get them to stretch while still enjoying themselves. Your programs were extremely well researched and provided tons of valuable information our members can take back and use immediately.
From a selfish standpoint when evaluating speakers, I also include in the "mix" how easy or difficult a speaker is to work with. I know you might find it surprising... but some speakers have some rather large egos. You are a professional in every sense of the word and enjoyable to work with as well.
I remember you telling me, "It is my objective to 'make you a hero' for selecting me as your speaker." Congratulations! You did it! I'm glad to see the American Wholesale Marketers Association has discovered your talents and is having you speak for them also.
I look forward to continuing to work with you in the future.
Sincerely, Greg Martin Executive Director

CANON, U.S.A.
Dear
Wayne,
I want to thank you for joining our five Regional Dealer Meetings as our "featured speaker." These meetings are important to our Independent Dealers, and I must say that you were the hit of the show!
Your comments on staffing, i.e. hiring the right people struck a nerve. As you know, that is perhaps the largest challenge facing our industry. Therefore, as you know, they were extremely interested and as a result we contracted with you to develop the Canon Staffing Benchmark System. Early indications are that this process will become well accepted by our Dealers.
I also wanted to comment on your presentation on getting beyond the price war, selling value. Declining margins are the second largest problem facing our Dealers and your comments gave them hope and a new direction that could ultimately save their Dealerships.
Again, thank you for spending time with our dealers. Your presentation prior to the meetings was evident in that your message was aimed at their specific problems and not just another "generic" presentation given by a consultant. Your humorous, yet informative style, worked perfectly to deliver a powerful message in a way that kept their attention and encouraged questions and positive comments.
We look forward to working with you again in the future. Best of luck in the Year...
Sincerely, Gary Barth VP and GM Dealer Sales Division
